At Sophie & Marie Toronto, we are dedicated to providing a smooth, reliable, and transparent shipping experience. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms set out below.


1. Free Shipping – Always

We proudly offer FREE shipping on all orders — no minimum spend, no hidden fees. Whether you're ordering within Canada or internationally, shipping is always free.


2. Where We Ship From

Sophie & Marie Toronto works with a trusted international fulfillment network to bring you quality products at competitive prices. Orders are dispatched from our global fulfillment centers, which allows us to deliver efficiently while maintaining strict quality control before dispatch.


3. Delivery Timeframes

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 24–48 hours of order confirmation. Once shipped, estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • Standard estimated delivery: 5–14 business days

If your order has not arrived within 14 business days of your order confirmation date, please contact us at info@sophieandmarietoronto.com and we will investigate and resolve the matter promptly.


4. Customs Duties and Import Taxes

While shipping is always free, please be aware that orders shipped to Canada may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees upon entry into the country. These charges are assessed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and are the sole responsibility of the customer. They are not included in your order total at checkout and are not reimbursed by Sophie & Marie Toronto.

We encourage customers to review CBSA import guidelines before placing an order.


5. Order Processing & Tracking

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. Within 24–48 hours, your order will be processed and you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number.

Please note that tracking information may take 3–5 business days to become active after your shipping confirmation is sent. This is normal and occurs because tracking only updates once the carrier has physically scanned your parcel at the dispatch facility. If your tracking number is not yet active, please allow a few days before checking again.

You can monitor your shipment at any time using the tracking link provided in your confirmation email.


6. Proof of Delivery

Delivery is considered complete upon carrier confirmation of delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout. If your tracking status shows delivered but you have not received your package, we ask that you first:

  • Check with neighbors or other household members
  • Check with your building management or mailroom
  • Contact your local postal facility

If the package still cannot be located after completing these steps, please contact us at info@sophieandmarietoronto.com within 7 days of the delivery confirmation date and we will assist you further.


7. Shipping Delays & Exceptions

While we aim to meet all stated delivery timeframes, Sophie & Marie Toronto is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Customs inspections or import restrictions
  • Force majeure events including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information submitted at checkout
  • Carrier disruptions outside our control

In all cases, we will communicate proactively and work to resolve any delivery issue as quickly as possible.


8. Incorrect Delivery Information

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate at the time of checkout. Sophie & Marie Toronto is not responsible for delayed or undelivered orders resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer. In such cases, reshipping fees may apply.
